A group of us in Florida are learning the Sword Set that Mr. Moy taught from a Canadian teacher who learned from him. We are two-thirds through the Set. I have seen lists of the names of the moves on several sites, including yours, but there seems to be no video nor any descriptions of the moves.

When I learned Lok Hup, I learned the names of the moves as I went along. As I practiced, I would know if I had included all of the moves, because I had the names, as well as the moves themselves. Once I learned, I no longer went back to that.

However the names are also useful for discussion and asking questions. Is there any way to find out which moves go with the names?

    Thank you so much!

  2. The 21st movement of the Saber set, just after the Left and Right Upward Cut, is called Jump and Hide Sabre.
I’ve never seen anyone practising any jump on this move. Does anyone know if someone used to practise a jump at this point of the set?
After the supposed jump it comes Hide Sabre, but what we actually do is to Throw Shuttles rolloing the Sabre around us and throwing it to the left. Does anyone know if this is a mistake in writing the list of moves?
    Thank you very much.

    Muchas gracias.
