Master the art of Tai Chi with a Sabre

Following their long-standing collaboration, Philippe and Hubert Gagnon are inviting you to a unique workshop dedicated to the use of traditional Tai Chi weapons. Whether you wish to deepen your practice or discover a new dimension of the internal arts, this workshop is designed for you. This workshop is intended for both experienced practitioners and for people who want to try Tai Chi with weapons for the very first time.

In our tradition, the sabre is a method used to develop qualities essential to mastering the internal arts. Extending movements beyond the body allows us to better perceive and train their source at the centre of the body and anchor ourselves more deeply to the ground.  Let yourself be seduced by the vigorous aspect and generous, grounded spirals of the saber form. It is a short and relatively intuitive sequence because it shares several moves with the bare-handed Tai Chi form, making it particularly accessible for everyone.

We announced initially a workshop at the CAMMAC Music Center with the choice of Sabre or Sword.  Because of not meeting the minimum requirement of participants for the Centre, we are moving the venue to the St-Barthélemy Centre on Ave. Des Érables in Montreal where we will concentrate solly on the Sabre form.

Your instructors: Philippe Gagnon from Taichi nuances and Hubert Gagnon from Comme les nuages.

Price, including taxes and rental of the St-Barthélemy Centre : $325

You can also register for one day (Friday or Saturday) for : $125 please write to us

Location :  Centre St-Barthélemy, 7111 Av. des Érables, Montréal, QC H2E 2R1.

Registration and payment, for the workshop is done though Comme les nuages. Please register on our website.
