An International Workshop led by Doug Nettleton
Organised by: Tai Chi Life Academy (TCLA)
Doug Nettleton was first introduced to Mr Moy and the Tai Chi he was teaching in 1975 in Toronto, whilst Doug was practising towards his black belt grading in Judo. After two months he gave up practising Judo. Doug regrettably had a break from Tai Chi in 1977 but returned to his Tai Chi practice in 1983 when his health deteriorated. From then, he remained a student of Mr Moy, regularly practising with him, until just before My Moy’s untimely death in 1998. Doug is happy to say that his health today is far better than it was in 1983.
Doug was a founding director of the Gei Pang Lok Hup Academy in 1989 under the direction of Mr Moy. Later in 2006, Doug was a founding member of the Board of Directors of the CTCA and participated in the founding of the International Association of Tai Chi & Lok Hup Academies (IATLA) in 2008.
Doug last taught in the UK in 2013. We are very pleased to welcome him back.
